ASNA is a boutique wellness and yoga studio in the Chicagoland area designed to feel discovered — not announced. Custom brass signage tucked behind the building on the first floor quietly marks the entrance to the ‘Rooted Room’ inviting those who find it into something truly special.

The vestibule opens to a custom black walnut and spalted maple bench that stoically mirrors the exquisite black and gray tones marbled throughout the floor. Soft gray laminate lockers frame the entryway that has been layered with large-format stone tile, a deep woodsy mural, and a dark cork wallpapered ceiling. Here you can remove your shoes, stow your belongings safely away and switch to airplane mode — just as the custom sign suggests.

In the intimate studio beyond, your mat, blocks, and accessories await - including aerial yoga silks for suspended practices. Heated floors run throughout as integrated baseboard and wall lighting slowly shifts in color, allowing the room to create new moods for each practice. Bronze-tinted mirrors line plaster-clad walls, reflecting soft light and calm energy while a striking agate wall featuring a moss textured ASNA logo keeps the space organic, tactile, and rooted. 

A beautifully appointed wet bar adds another layer of intention where custom green marble carves out the countertops and full-height backsplash. In the bathroom, black and white organic leafy wallpaper wraps the walls and doors as marble hardware, a sculptural stone sink, and a pebble-shaped toilet add richness and character. A large custom mirror, softly backlit, casts a warm glow on the handmade tile wall and ornately wallpapered ceiling  — an unexpected moment of quiet luxury before returning to the world outside.

ASNA is more than a yoga studio. It is a hidden sanctuary intentionally designed for rest, reflection and rejuvenation.
