Set within the iconic hills of Beachwood Canyon, this three-story modern home is a striking composition of sleek surfaces balanced by warm wood floors, exposed beams, and custom built-ins. Open-plan living spaces are wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass, framing dramatic canyon views that stretch toward the glittering city lights beyond. Natural light pours through every level, shifting throughout the day and softening the home’s modern edges.
Our redesign centered on transforming each of the four bathrooms into its own immersive aesthetic experience while preserving the architectural clarity of the residence.
The primary bathroom was conceived as a modern organic retreat — serene, textural, and calming. Soft stone, warm wood tones, and a restrained palette create a peaceful counterpoint to the expansive exterior views. The result is restorative and grounded, allowing materiality and light to lead.
In contrast, the guest bathroom introduces us to a vibrant mid-century saturation of color and texture. Rich red tile pairs unexpectedly with green patterned wallpaper, creating a layered moment that feels both nostalgic and fresh — confident but not overpowering.
The basement bathroom brings a playful edge with pink and black tones. Bold yet intentional, it injects personality while remaining aligned with the home’s modern framework.
The powder room embraces moody greens layered with stone and wood, creating depth and intimacy within a smaller footprint. It’s dramatic, tactile, and quietly memorable.
Each space was designed to feel distinct yet cohesive — honoring the home’s architectural integrity while layering in warmth, character, and vibrant individuality.
